A trip to Central Market is a treat unto itself. With their majestic bakery, delicious deli, never-ending cheese selection, and over 350 varieties of beer (!!!), it’s far more than just a grocery store–it’s a godsent haven for all North Texas foodies. On top of their killer grocery selection, the folks at CM teach cooking classes almost daily, ranging from lessons on Tex-Mex to tapas. This Saturday, pies and tarts are on the lesson plan, as the Central Market bakery staff will teach patrons the finer points of pie-creation. There will be fun and fruit filling had by all. Pies & Tarts, a two-and-a-half hour class begins at 10 a.m., and costs $50. For more info, check out centralmarket.com or call 214 -361-5754.
