Imagine traveling through the mountains of Asia, the deserts of Africa and beaches of Mexico, all in one weekend. After dropping a few thousand bucks exploring Asia, you may or may not take that trip down to Africa, and you’ve probably already forgotten about Mexico. This year’s third annual WorldFest gives attendees the cultural experience of countries like Morocco, Italy and Mexico right here in good ol’ Addison. With a global food court, Moroccan Village and European farmers market, WorldFest immerses those who only dream of traveling the world into a truly unique experience. This year’s weekend getaway lasts from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Village on the Parkway, 5100 Belt Line Road. Admission is free and open to the public.
