When the Ruby Revue graces the House of Blues, “standing at attention” usually is just an awkward side effect, and this summer’s red-hot Stars-n-Bars tribute, The Ruby Revue Salutes the Troops, is no exception. With “burlesque and vaudeville with a blend of ribald humor, tantalizing striptease, singers and original choreography that is nothing short of excellence,” the ladies we love shimmy their best assets — their wry humor and warm personalities — for a red, white and House of Blues summertime extravaganza. The Ruby Revue Salutes the Troops takes place Friday in the Cambridge Room in the White Swan Building at the House of Blues Dallas, 2200 North Lamar St. Doors open at 9 p.m. and the show begins at 10 p.m. with tickets ranging $20 to $40. Call 214-978-2583 or visit rubyrevue.com for more details.
