You’re not alone if the term “radiate” evokes images of eggs sizzling on Dallas sidewalks right about now, but come Thursday all you’ll be thinking about is the hot, hot heat of Dallas art. Raw:natural born artists, an international non-profit that “educates, connects and exposes emerging artists in 54 artistic communities across the United States and Australia through monthly showcase events” presents Radiate, an evening of visual art, fashion, hair and makeup, film, performing art, modeling and photography. Descending on the Texas Theatre at 231 W. Jefferson Blvd. in Oak Cliff, the Dallas arts community will be on the prowl from 8 p.m. until midnight with a cash bar and live music from Kaela Bratcher, Levi Cobb & the Big Smoke, and Drought. Cocktail and fashionable attire, ages 21 and up. Tickets are $10 online and $15 (cash only) at the door. All art for sale is cash or check only. Visit rawartists.org/dallas/radiate for tickets and a full list of artists.
