It’s time for dog fans to rejoice. Turn off Animal Planet and take a trip down to the Lone Star State Classic, a four-day dog show that only happens twice every year. Whether you’re into giant pooches like Great Danes or tiny pups like Chihuahuas, this dog show will give families a fantastic four days away from home. Attendees can enjoy dogs of all shapes and sizes, and shop at several small stores on the grounds. The Lone Star State Classic is comprised of the Greater Collin Kennel Club, Texas Kennel Club and Trinity Valley Kennel Club. The four-day show kicks off on Thursday, July 7 and ends on Sunday, July 10 at Dallas Market Hall, 2200 Stemmons Freeway. Dog shows begin at 8 a.m. and last throughout the day on Friday, July 8 through Sunday, July 10. Admission ranges from $5 to $8. For more information, visit lonestarclassic.com.
