It was going to be one of those tough choices on Saturday, November 10: Do you go to the Observer‘s Music Awards showcase, which will take place in Deep Ellum and feature more than 60 local bands? OR, do you head over to Art Conspiracy 8, which is happening the same night at 960 Dragon Street, and features performances from DOMA-nominated bands like Burning Hotels, Blackstone Rangers and Daniel Hart, as well as emerging art from more than 100 artists? CULTURAL CRISIS.
Well, you don’t have to do F/M/K on this one. The two entities have shaken virtual hands to bring you this deal: $10 gets you one ticket to both events. That’s just solid math. We’ll have venue lineups and times for the showcase this week. Stay tuned.
