As promised, CBS News has sent along the first few minutes of Saturday night’s episode of 48 Hours Mystery, which is devoted entirely to the case of Lisa Stone, who disappeared last June from her Far East Dallas home and hasn’t been seen or heard from since. In the Very Dramatic sneak peek, you meet Stone’s friends from Mesquite High School — Tammye Markle, Joni Shannon and Tina Wiley — who CBS bills as “The Facebook Detectives,” since they’ve kept digging long after Dallas Police classified Stone’s disappearance as an unsolved case.
CBS also sends a few more quotes from Sherry Henry, Stone’s longtime partner and the sole person of interest in the disappearance, who was seen tossing Stone’s belongings in a dumpster but who continues to insist she had nothing to do with the vanishing. Henry didn’t speak to the Observer for our cover story last year. From the CBS tease:
48 Hours correspondent Maureen Maher: Did you file a missing persons report?
Sherry Henry: No, I did not.
Maher: Was there ever a time when you thought that as her life partner that you should file a missing person’s report?
Henry: No, I did not. At the time, prior to me leaving Dallas, Lisa Stone is NOT missing.
