It’s no secret that we love us some Black Joe Lewis around these parts. Got a soft spot for retro soul, I guess.
Dig Lucero, too, because, really, there’s nothing wrong with whiskey-soaked alt-country–nothing whatsoever.
And though the two might make for an interesting pairing because, well, they’re so sonically different, there is one thing connecting the two that should make Sunday Saturday night at the Longhorn Saloon a good time: namely, that both bands like to have a good time. So, at the risk of sounding like a broken record, Sunday Saturday night should be a grand ol’ time in the massive complex of the Longhorn Saloon. Basically, you’ll want to be there.
And you can be–for free, no less, thanks to the folks at Spune Productions–by emailing me with the words “The Mountain” in the subject line. First two emails I receive each get a pair of tickets to the show. Starting right now. Good luck.
