The worst kept secret of 2015 is finally, officially out in the world, and for Dallas music fans the news is a gas, gas, gas. For the first time in 10 years, the Rolling Stones will be coming back to North Texas, this time for a June 6 stop at AT&T Stadium. It’s the legendary British band’s only Texas date on its 15-show tour, and considering how infrequently they play it’s no stretch to say this could be your last time to catch them in concert

The news was initially supposed to be announced a couple weeks ago, with billboards around the country (including right here in Dallas) advertising a Thursday, March 12 announce date which promptly came and went. The cause, it turned up, was a ticketing issue on the part of concert promoter AEG.

But now that that’s resolved, we have the “Zip Code” North American tour to look forward to. It kicks off on Memorial Day weekend in San Diego, with the Dallas date the fourth stop on the schedule. It’s the first time that Mick, Keith and the boys have come through Dallas since they played American Airlines Center a decade ago.
Tickets go on sale two weeks from yesterday, on Monday, April 13 at rollingstones.com. Prices will range from $65 (actually pretty reasonable by what you might expect to pay to see the Stones) to $395.
