We’ll have more tomorrow from this evening’s final community budget forum held at White Rock Lake’s Winfrey Point, but when the dust cleared after residents were given sets of 10 green and red dots to assign one each to items in the budget they hoped to keep (green) and ditch (red), the clear leader among the reds was the Trinity River Corridor Project.

Of course, Angela Hunt took no pleasure in this whatsoever or in the fact that the convention center hotel was offered up as a cut even though it’s not a budget item.
