Should be quite the spiritual affair tomorrow night at St. David’s Episcopal Church in Denton, as Denton favorites Sarah Jaffe, Robert Gomez and Seryn join forces to make up a three-act bill at the downtown Denton church.
Beyond simply offering up the chance to see three area favorites in a unique setting, though, this performance, too, stands as something of a homecoming gig for both Jaffe and Gomez, who recently returned home from their short stint in the Southeast as Jaffe, backed by Gomez, opened up for Midlake on its warm-up tour. It’ll also serve as the last chance to see Jaffe live for sometime: Next week, she will rejoin Midlake on tour–this time in Europe–and won’t return to town until late February.
So, many thanks then to the folks at Spune Productions and in its recent signee Seryn, for passing along a pair of tickets for one lucky DC9 reader to get into this sure-to-be-special Friday night event for free. Could be you, too: First person to email me right now with the words “We Will All Be Changed” in the subject line gets the pair. Good luck!
Update: Contest is over. Congrats to our winner!
