Ladies and gentlemen, your poster of the week. And I’ll tell ya why after the jump.
While there may not be too much that’s all that delicate about Lochrann’s in Frisco, there’s little doubt that the two bands sharing a bill at the venue tomorrow night have a certain delicate appeal in their folky-meanderings. And that, friends, is what makes this accompanying visual a winner–because, even if the venue isn’t the most delicate in the world, the poster’s telling you what to sonically expect.
And it does so, almost to a fault, in a very tasteful manner. The image, of course, is the anchor here, but the type, truly, is what sets it apart. Sparse, well-spaced and even well-colored, the text here is minimal but includes all the pertinent information one really needs. Good stuff.
