Who doesn’t love a birthday party? One of Dallas’ favorite dive bars, The Windmill Lounge on Maple, turns 7 and is celebrating this Friday with some hoopla and a bit of free grub.
Easy Slider food truck, which just earned a solid four tires from Reitz, will provide some nourishment beginning at 8 p.m. The first 100 little sammies are on the house (one per person and don’t make them tell you twice). Order some old man drinks (Dark and Stormy is a fave) or, if you want to make it easy, just a nice cold beer.
Corey Howe of the Dead Flowers will have an acoustic set at 9 p.m.
Drinks, libations, cold beer and a whole bunch of BS will flow all night. Actually, BS flows every night. … But, no matter, be sure to stop by to give Charlie and Louise some proper hind-side spankin’s on this celebratory night.
