Huerta is currently being honored for his broad and numerous contributions to the arts by the Latino Cultural Center, which has named him a Maestro Tejano. Maestros Tejanos: Benito Huerta Solo Exhibit is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays through June 19 at the Latino Cultural Center, 2600 Live Oak St. Admission is free.
