It’s freaking ABBA songs, y’all. That would be the entire write-up if it were left up to me. Set in 100-point font, but I understand you whipplesticks might need just a few more details so here we go – “The Music of ABBA” is “the world’s best ABBA tribute show” and it’s playing Tuesday, April 3rd at 8:00 p.m. at the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. Yes, but will they sing all the hits? Nope. Just the ones that matter!!! Like “Waterloo,” “Dancing Queen” and, of course, “Mamma Mia.” I’m partial to “Fernando,” but this isn’t about me. It’s about you in a pair of chunky white platforms wearing all of the polyester and flat-ironing your hair with an actual iron because if you’re going to this, go all out. Now’s the time to celebrate that golden age of getting laid without consequence, wearing gold lame and not knowing any better and pant waists up to your nips. Tickets range from $30 to $70. “I do I do I do” your way over to dallassymphony.com for more info.
