He, like Jack Donaghy, is politically active, just not in the same way. At all. He is Alec Baldwin. More than even an acting legend—Glengarry Glen Ross secured that trajectory long ago—Baldwin is a pop culture icon of pursed lips, whispered sarcasm and perfect comedic timing. Even if he never landed on 30 Rock, he’d still be one of the best hosts to join the Not Ready For Prime Time Players. And he’s coming here.
