Tired of your typical happy hour? Want to see a fashion show, sample snacks and cocktails, score some cool swag and do some celeb watching? For free?! Yes, please. Tonight’s What to Wear event has got you covered, and its fashionably moderated runway panel promises to train you in how to stay covered. New fall lines by American Apparel, Urban Outfitters, Movida, LOFT, Francesca’s Collections, Relativity Outdoors and The Shoe Envy will be revealed and broken down so you can pick out which looks are versatile and which are volatile. Local blogger and gal-about-town Cynthia Smoot will be your style oracle; her panel of experts will include Courtney Kerr (Most Eligible Dallas) and a pretty rockin’ collection of media know-it-alls. So rest assured that your fashion is in good hands. Swing by after work; What to Wear runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. so you’ll still have time to go home and fantasize about your future closet-stuffing shopping spree. Join the fun at Vapiano (5319 E. Mockingbird Lane, Suite 100), and visit mockingbirdstation.com/events for details.
