Larry Miller is one of those actors whose generic name, relatively small parts and average-middle-aged-white-guy appearance all but ensure that most people’s reaction to him is, “Oh yeah, that guy. I’ve seen him in … what was it again?” Give up? Could be his part as Mayor Glenn Welsch in Waiting For Guffman, Max Berman in Best in Show or the title character of Seinfeld episode “The Doorman.” But he steps into the spotlight all by himself in his one-man show, in which he tells why Little League is a microcosm of human conflict giving evidence that the Middle East conflict will never be resolved, theorizes that spousal abuse always starts in a car and sits down at the piano to sing “These Are A Few of My Favorite Drinks.” You can enjoy Cocktails With Larry Miller: Little League, Adultery and Other Bad Ideas on six occasions, with performances at 8 p.m. Wednesday through November 19 and 2 p.m. matinees November 19 and 20 at the Eisemann Center, 2351 Performance Drive in Richardson.
