Whether you’re whining about the current state of the stock market or your teacup poodle that refuses to do back flips, art is there to convey your feelings. Texas Christian University can fill your need for artistic expression with the 29th Annual Art in the Metroplex Exhibition, and features local artists’ works, ranging from printmaking to mixed media. The exhibition takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday through September 30 at Moudy Gallery, 2800 S. University Drive in Fort Worth. Awards amounting to $2,000 will be presented to the top five picks chosen by the jurors on September 10. Admission is free. Call 817-257-7643 or visit artandhistory.tcu.edu.
