Unlike peanut butter and jelly, Jon Gosselin and Ed Hardy, and Carrie Prejean and the definition of stupid, some things were not meant to be together. Like, say, orange juice and toothpaste, cats and dogs, and health care reform and comprehensive women’s medical services. But if you’re still one of those people who believes Bob Saget only pairs well with family-friendly, prime-time programming, well, you’re also probably drinking Cristal with your Chef Boyardee. Because it’s well-known by now that the former Full House and America’s Funniest Videos star is one of the dirtiest stand-up comics around. According to a number of reviews of his latest stand-up work–some of which he did during a practice run of Bye, Bye Birdie on Broadway–Saget pairs well with: butt sex humor, scrotum jokes and making light of date rape. So, actually, if you like Cristal with your Boyardee, Saget’s upcoming Dallas appearance may be right up your questionable taste alley. He’ll be at the House of Blues, 2200 N. Lamar St., with opener Ryan Stout, and the show is actually rated “all ages.” Consider yourself warned if you bring that passel of evangelical kids from next door. Show’s this Saturday at 7 p.m., and tickets are $26.50 to $37.50. Call 214-978-BLUE or visit ticketmaster.com.
