Didn’t get your fill of green bar at the St. Patrick’s festivities on Saturday? Today is the official day of all things Irish, so cut your work day short for an all-day affair that might rival Saturday’s shindig. Feast on corned beef and cabbage or Guinness beef stew and imbibe in your favorite Irish whiskey at The Old Monk (2847 N. Henderson Ave.), then stay for authentic Irish entertainment in the evening. The bar getting the party started early at 11 a.m., but the real party happens at 5 p.m. when traditional Irish dancers will perform for the crowd. Homespun Remedies will take the stage at 6 p.m., followed by a bagpiper at 8 p.m. No luck of the Irish — or cover — required to get into this bash. For more information, call 214-821-1880 or visit oldmonkdallas.com.
