There’s no shortage of athletes in town for the Super Bowl, but not all of them are hosting booze-filled soirees at posh hotels. Shaquille O’Neal, the-basketball-star-turned-movie-star-turned-rapper-turned-regular-ol’-basketball-star-again, won’t be tossing any bottles of champagne your way, but he does want to make you laugh, even at his expense. That’s why he’s bringing his All Star Comedy Jam back to Dallas for the Super Bowl, with a bill chock full of his favorite comedians, who will roast popular media targets and the athlete himself. Of course, it’s easy to rib the man who starred in Kazaam. Last year’s NBA All-Star Weekend show featured Mo’Nique, Paul Mooney from Chappelle’s Show and Corey Holcomb from Last Comic Standing. Corey Holcomb returns for this year’s show, and he’ll be joined by Tommy Davidson, who you might remember from MADtv and classics like Booty Call and Juwanna Man. Aries Spears, another MADtv alum, will also perform. It all goes down 7 and 10:30 p.m. Friday and 8 p.m. Saturday at the Majestic Theatre, 1925 Elm St. Tickets are $45 to $100.
