Before becoming the Senior Lecturer at the George Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University, James Olson was an undercover operative in the CIA. In fact, according to former Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates, Olson “is a legend in the clandestine service,” something that is only impressive after the fact, I’m sure. Olson will be on hand from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hotel Crescent Court, 400 Crescent Court, to speak for the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth about the moral limits of the spy world and sign his latest book, Fair Play: The Moral Dilemmas of Spying. Tickets are $25 for members, $35 for non-members and $65 for the Contributor’s Dinner and Program. For reservations, call 214-965-8412.
Wed., May 9, 6-9 p.m.
