I don’t have a daughter, but if I did, I sure as hell wouldn’t take her to anything called “Little Ladies Night Out.” For an etiquette class, the event’s press release sure could use a lesson in manners—”Transform your little girl into a little lady at Firehouse. Firehouse introduces a night where parents can bring their daughters and practice the art of eating out.” No daughter of mine is learning anything of the sort until she’s at least 30. However, if you’re the type of parent who’s willing to risk a certain amount of your daughter’s innocence just so she won’t embarrass you in frou-frou restaurants, Firehouse offers the class (which includes a four-course meal) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Firehouse is located at 1928 Greenville Ave. Call 214-826-0097.
Wed., Oct. 4, 6-8 p.m.
