Parades of homes are great for voyeuristic views into the lives of others. And, if we’re lucky, we come back from them inspired to revamp our own homes. At the Green Built Parade of Homes, patrons can come back with more than just ideas for décor; they may be inspired to change their lives. This home parade features energy-efficient, “green” homes, many of which are built to the specifications of the Green Built North Texas program. The event will showcase products and services, offer advice from the Green Built North Texas Council and promote sustainable living. The Green Built Parade of Homes is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays, Saturday through October 27 in the Forest Hills subdivision in Crossroads, on Highway 380 just east of Denton. Call 214-615-5107 or visit dallasbuilders.com.
Tuesdays-Saturdays, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Starts: Sept. 22. Continues through Oct. 27, 2007
